"Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome."
-Booker T. Washington
11:29am-
Just got off the phone with the school administrator.. He was prep talking me about the interview on Monday.
'show up on time, wear a collared shirt, show your audacity..!'
I think I got this.
I guess I'll get up now...
12:27pm-
I know animals can understand what I'm saying. I don't know if it's just me, or they just pretend not to know what humans are saying so they don't have to do it..
I looked at the cat just as she was about to jump on a chair, and she saw me look and backed down. I said 'you can get up there.' and she looked at me for a second, then turned back around and jumped up on the chair.
6:32pm-
I guess I look nice or compassionate or just like I have money cause this is the second time TODAY that a give-money-to-homeless-kids person has stopped me. And I usually get stopped 3 or 4 times a week.
"IM a homeless kid...! I don't have a place to live either! But as soon as I get a refrigerator to put a picture on I'll get back to y'all." has been my current excuse.
7:10pm-
In line for an Andrew W. K. autograph. I think.
8:52pm-
AWK just signed a photo of himself.
and then hugged me.
11:14pm-
New hobby:
Make a list of interesting, significant and influential people and each day pick one and learn all about them.
Today: Stanley Kubrick.
Even though I'm not a BIG fan of his, he DID set new standards for futuristic sci-fi films with 2001: A Space Odyssey, and pushed the limits on a lot of other things throughout his career.
3:18am-
Just accidently watched Spike Jonze's short about robots and robot life.
(got 31 minutes...?)
I'M HERE.
4:38am-
Max's "manager" left. i guess i'll go take a shower and go to bed.
i didnt watch ANY heroes tonight..?!?
