Scrambled. Open in a frying pan.

Done.
It has to be turned in by 7, so I rendered it, uploaded it to an external hard drive and Kristen caught a cab and got it to the guy just in time!

Editing was hours and hours. Non stop.
And it still came our TERRIBLE.
you (the reader of this) will definitely never see this project.

The product wasn't good AT. ALL.
But I learned a LOT.
Failing upwards. Is what i call it.

Finally leaving headquarters.
Get to go home and take a real shower....

9:51pm-
Took my shoes off for the first time in daays...

Some Australians stayed at my house over the weekend. I never met them, but the more I walk around, the more I like these mystery guests...
A ton of beer cans (but all put in a garbage bag); chips; cool clothes; a cell phone....?
They're either still living here, left in a hurry, or are just really irresponsible.

Heading to SoHo to shoot an office seen. It's great out today!

In the subway.
Asked a cop about his gun.
Just wanted to see if he'd think that's suspicious.
He didn't.

Took my second 'tour shower'. (in the sink.)

We're ahead of schedule.
Going to dinner.
Panera bread again.

11:42pm-
We got ahead.
We got behind.
Now weve got 15 minutes left and one shot to go....
Whew.....

12:25am-
Just took my third sink bath.
I've bathed more here in the sink in one day than I have at home in the last week.....

Popped open some champaign to celebrate the end of shooting!!!

Went and jumped on nolens bed (or, shays bed) to wake her up.
"This is something my mom would do."

11:07am-
Made it downtown on time.
Secured the boom mic.
Now going back home to go back to sleep.

11:51am-
A guy realized this was his stop and jumped off the train just as the doors closed!
He turned around to see that his girlfriend didn't make.

5:50pm-
Packed and heading to 'headquarters' for the weekend.
Here we go.

7:03pm-
Got the email telling us what the guide lines-

"Theme: Redemption
Must include a character wearing a suit and the word 'indubitably'.
You have from now until 7pm Sunday June 13th."

Ok...... Here we go.

8:23pm-
Lunch break.
The story is looking......
Not as good as I want it to.
At least I'll get to use my camera.

12:27am-
Script done.
Eric (a writer) left.
The three of us are going to celebrate by going out and finding an open store to get some rockstars and redbulls.

1:35am-
Sitting down with a coffee drink and a computer and notebook to read over and storyboard a script that I'm not necessarily pumped about.
Well, we'll see what we can do...

3:44am-
Kristen goes to bed while Stephen finishes breaking down the script.

4:23am-
Headphone fell out of my ear and almost swung into my stream of pee.
Instead I just peed on my shoe.

4:51am-
Stephens turn to sleep and Kristen is organizing the schedule.
I give her a sip of a 5hour energy.
She agrees that it tastes like summer and running through a sprinkler.

6something am-
Storyboard made.
Schedule set.
Script locked.
Emails sent to actors.
Were on schedule.

7:22am-
Kristen went to starbucks and got us breakfast while Stephen and I fixed the sound issue.
Or, the no sound issue.

7:35pm-
I maybe just fell asleep on the floor...

7:50am-
Apparently we have about an hour or so (maybe more) to sleep.

I like having a producer and assistant director around.
I can go to sleep when I want and know THEY are in charge of waking me up and telling me when we need to be somewhere.
And they love making schedules (and keeping people on them) and making sure everything we need is available.
So much I DONT have to do...!

Im just planning on sitting around here until my camera gets here, so I let her take mine. Now I CANT go anywhere.

My camera is finally here!!
I almost bolted out the door without my keys!

Ok.... Now I just gotta learn everything about how to use this- focus, iris settings, aperture settings, record video, record audio, save in the right format and how to transfer data to a computer (and what software I'll need for that)- by 7 tomorrow night.
Better start reading and pushing buttons..

Nolen is dying from lady problem pain.
We looked up endometriosis. Cause it's in her family and makes cramps really terrible.
(I'm not going into detail about it.... But just believe me it's gross and makes things a lot worse.)

It's good to know people who live around here.
But, they're French and will be going back to France in a few weeks.

(since grading it doesn't really matter anyway.)
I maaaybe missed a question- or, just didn't put the full answer down so she gave me an A-.

Erica just turned 20 yesterday. And she apparently used to be a stripper.
She told us to find her YouTube pole dancing video....

Called butterflyphoto cause I noticed they JUST charged me for what I ordered over a week ago. Told em I ordered it in time to have it by a certain date and if I don't have it by then then it doesn't do me any good.

Should be here at least by Thursday.


(I'm making a steadicam and bought all the pieces the other day but im stuck because I don't have a drill...)

Found a gas station/auto inspection place and asked of they would drill some holes in some end caps that I have.
After the guy drilled the holes he went back to the car he was working on.
I didn't know if I was supposed to pay or anything... So I just said thanks to everyone and left.

Some girls in the subway asked where I got my sunglasses.... (I said they were my brothers.)
But, I don't think they really cared about the glasses..

Phone already almost dead.

Just bought a bag and tripod and it was relatively painless.
A good bag and a reeaally cheap tripod.
Aannd..... Just remembered I forgot an XLR > 1/8" cable.

Using iMovie to edit shays audition.
I really hate iMovie.

Went to use the microwave and found a plate of old, hard pizza rolls in there....

I wake up for a second and see where/how we all fell asleep-
Shay on the couch, Nolen on the floor next to the couch, me on the floor half under a chair.

12:46pm-
Nolen is making us get up.
Now Shays in my bed, Nolen is on the couch and I'm on the floor wrapped up in blankets.

While recording shays audition we decided that we were gonna start making Disney video clip remakes every Sunday. Hopefully we start doing that soon. And with my new camera!

RIGHT when Nolen and I leave it starts pouring.

6:48pm-
A blocked number just called my phone. Someone who knew my name talked in a really high pitched, Mickey mouse voice, we had a short conversation, and then I told them I was mugging someone and asked th to call back later.
They hung up.

7:22pm-
Went back outside and it's actually coldish...??? And super windy.
I just watched a styrofoam cooler fly down the street. We just had to hide behind a tree cause the sand was stinging our legs and faces..

9:06pm-
Just went to French Roast and had DUCK!? with pear + almond and tried MUSSELS!?!
I need to make sure I always bring Nolen to classy places like this so she can tell me how to pronounce things.

Shay and Nolen are learning a dance to Brittany Spears in the living room.

Our water still doesn't work.
So we went to Nolen's to drink water and take showers.
Wheeew... refreshing in this kind of weather.....

Already running late...!
The train said it be here in 12 minutes.... And then.. it just flew right past us!!!?!?!??
After the train past and everyone just stared:

Saw an old guy with a McAlisters cup of sweet tea...!?
I went up and asked of there wa McAlisters around here....
No. Central park was having a mississippi thing and McAs was there giving out sweet tea.
And I missed out!!

At a meeting for the 48hr film thing. Trying to secure locations and equipment and actors and test the writers to see if they will be able to write a 5 page story in 4 hours.
30 minutes to write one page. Go.

3:44pm-
Time up.
We didnt get a page of a script, but an entire story in one page.
And I liked it.

At the end of the 4th episode of Gossip Girl we watched, they had a ton of hot dogs and Nolen and I instantly craved a ton of hot dogs.

We ran down the street and found an actual grocery store with everything we needed.

Nolens very best friend called and surprised her and is in the city....!!!?!
She's freaking out.
Were going down town to meet up with them.
After hot dogs.

12:04am-
Heading out to meet Scott and friends.
In the subway one kid was guarding while the other was pissing on the wall. ha....

Train is gonna take 15 minutes.
Were walking.

12:09am-
Saw a cat walking across the street. It had a mouse in it's mouth!!

1:20am-
Met up with Nolens friends and now were at some place that someone they know works at.
That means free drinks....

Go out to get some tortilla chips and sweet tea.
It's hot and muggy with a cool breeze. It somehow reminds me of being on tour.

Nolen asked for some wash clothes or something so she could take a shower and not have to dry off with our one dirty towel that we keep forgetting to wash.

Apparently to get something shipped to where I live now, i have to call my credit card company and add it to the billing address. I guess that's a good thing. But it woulda been good to know before I ordered a ton of stuff...!

After I answered all the questions on on my homework that I already knew the answer to, like: "what is roomtone" and 'what are nat sounds" I made up my own question- "draw a picture of a scary monster about to attack and eat a child."
So I answered it.

Stacy just told me that the zombie movie Matt wrote got funding!!
So hopefully by the end of the summer we'll be shooting a zombie movie!!

Just listened to a voice over professional read off some radio commercials.
Those guys you think are really nice people in tuxedos and have sparkling white teeth telling you about a vacation in Hawaii are actually big, drunk, sweaty, fat jerks who think they're awesome and cuss like a sailor with a bad attitude.
It was cool to watch the sound guy, Allen, mix everything and cut out all the words that shouldn't be said on public radio and make the commercial sound good.

Sherri texted me her new tattoo.

And she said she'd love to draw one for me. Can't wait to see what she does withy idea...!

Just saw a bunch of bags of trash fly past my window and heard em crash from 5 or 6 stories up.

Not tired at all.
And I feel sick.
Sweaty but cold. Stomachache. My shoulder has been hurting for days now and making my head hurt. And Im always catching myself clenching my teeth.

On the way back from kates house it took shay and I three stops to find regular tortilla chips. And in were SPANISH HARLEM!?!
